The 22nd annual Rickwood Classic was held on Wednesday at historic Rickwood Field, with the Birmingham Barons celebrating their past at their former home. Rickwood Field is currently the oldest ballpark in America, opening in 1910.
The Barons played at Rickwood Field until 1988, when the team moved to the Hoover Met. They now play at Regions Field downtown.
On Wednesday, the team and umpires wore throwback uniforms, as the Barons came away with a 7-1 win.
