There was no shortage of creative energy at Linn Park this weekend at the 34th annual Magic City Art Connection.
Birmingham's largest festival brought over 200 artists to Linn Park in downtown Birmingham from Friday, April 28, to Sunday, April 30. The weekend featured pieces from both local and national artists, in addition to collaborative art experiences, children's art booths, sculpture installations and music, dance and spoken word performances. Special tastings and food was also available with Corks & Chefs tickets.
Celeste Aparo Pfau was named the 2017 Emerging Artist, which is a special Magic City Art Connection honor given to a talented Birmingham artist. Each year, the winner is spotlighted at the festival, receives a cash prize and tickets to events.
