Women in Business: Beth Hardwick and Rebecca Hardwick

by

Beth Hardwick has been in real estate for 34 years and has seen a lot of change. Cellphones were attached to car dashboards, there was no such thing as the internet, and she would often physically run out in the middle of the night to have someone sign a contract.

Today, not only is the world of real estate different, but Beth has been joined for the last seven years by her daughter, Rebecca. The pair are both Realtors with LAH Real Estate, and Rebecca said the pair make a great team by combining their individual strengths and perspectives to help their customers find what they need. This gives them two agents at the price of one, Hardwick said.

“We believe that honesty and communication are key in this business,” Rebecca said. “Whether it’s how we handle our clients or how we work with the other agent, we make it a priority to be true to ourselves while still keeping our client’s best interest at heart.”

Throughout the year, the Hardwicks can often be found visiting their clients, dropping in for a visit and possibly bringing them a gift to let them know how much they care.

“We may take them a little something, but it’s the time that we spend with our clients that makes it special,” Rebecca said.

Since becoming a team in 2013, the Hardwicks have received both LAH’s “Top Producer” and “Owner’s Award” each year, and they are “well-trained and attuned to current market trends and technology,” Beth said.

It does not cost anything extra to hire the Hardwicks, and Beth said they enjoy working with first-time buyers as much as they enjoy working with empty-nesters who have moved in the past.

Beth Hardwick is involved in fundraising and volunteering for several organizations, including the Early Intervention Program at the Bell Center, cooking at the Lenten lunches at the Advent and walking marathons for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Both women are very active with animal rescues, and between the two of them, they have 5 dogs, all of which are rescues.

Combining their strengths and combining their experience has helped the team.

“We want people to understand that we have a lot of experience and we are a team,” Rebecca said. “We also love what we do.”
