Five Birmingham bands will perform at Workplay this Sunday, Feb. 26, 5-10 p.m., in a benefit for two other popular Birmingham musicians who are fighting serious illnesses – Kendra Sutton and Kevin Klein.

The all-ages show – billed as a “musical extravaganza” – will raise money to help meet the huge medical costs that Sutton and Klein are facing, according to a news release from event organizer Marian Henderson.

The following acts are scheduled to play—

Not only are Sutton and Klein talented musicians, but they have “huge hearts” and have both used their talents in the past to help raise “thousands of dollars” for other causes and charities, Henderson told Iron City Ink.

“We all feel it’s time to use a little talent and effort to help them,” Henderson said.

Admission is $10 for adults; children 12 years and under are admitted free.
