Iron City Ink now seeking submissions of community stories

by

Do you or your organization have a neighborhood story to share?

Iron City Ink is now accepting public submissions for our “Neck of the Woods” community section.

Stories can cover special events, community projects or provide news or updates about local schools or nonprofit organizations within the Birmingham city limits.

Items should not exceed 200 words but should include any information absolutely essential to the story.

They should be accompanied by high-resolution photographs. We like to see at least 3-5 photos in order to provide our page designers a few options.

Photos should be at least 500 KB, preferably 1 MB. To determine the size of a photo on your computer desktop, right click on the image and look for “get info” or “info.” Click there to find the size of the photo.

We’ll use as many items as we can in our print edition, space permitting. We also reserve the right to edit the stories as needed.

In your email, please provide any other relevant contact information, including a phone number.

Please send questions or submissions to our Community Editor, Jesse Chambers, at jchambers@starnespublishing.com.
