Casey Cep is a staff writer at The New Yorker. After graduating from Harvard with a degree in English, she earned an M.Phil in theology at Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar. She lives on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with her family. Furious Hours is her first book. Learn more at www.caseycep.com

Caleb Johnson is the author of the novel Treeborne, which received an honorable mention for the Southern Book Prize. Caleb grew up in Alabama and currently teaches writing at Appalachian State University. His work can be found in The Bitter Southerner, The Carolina Quarterly, The Paris Review Daily, and elsewhere.
