We are closing out February with a powerhouse event featuring Dantiel W. Moniz (a "Writer to Watch" via Publishers Weekly), whose stellar collection MILK BLOOD HEAT is an Indie Next pick, in conversation with Deesha Philyaw, author of THE SECRET LIVES OF CHURCH LADIES, one of our 2020 favorites.
Lauren Groff calls MILK BLOOD HEAT "a gorgeous debut," and it has already been selected for Roxane Gay's new Audacious Bookclub as the April pick. It's a "most anticipated" book in over a half dozen outlets, including O, The Oprah Magazine. We found these stories riveting in their truths and masterful in their telling.
Preorders for MILK BLOOD HEAT are available now. THE SECRET LIVES OF CHURCH LADIES is in stock and a must-read also! Registration is required for this not-to-be-missed event!
