AUTHOR EVENT: Melissa Broder presents MILK FED
to
Thank You Bookshop 5502 Crestwood Blvd Unit B, Birmingham, Alabama 35212
We're thrilled to celebrate the release of Melissa Broder's bold, sexy, and hilarious second novel, MILK FED. An Indie Next pick for February, it centers around Rachel, a calorie-obsessed lapsed Jew who longs for meaning and fulfillment. When she meets Miriam, an Orthodox woman who works at the yogurt shop, sparks (and sprinkles!) fly. Unflinchingly honest, unexpectedly moving, and a brilliant checkmate to shame, both carnal and spiritual--Milk Fed is a novel you'll stay up late to finish reading. Registration for this event is required.
Melissa Broder is the author of the novel THE PISCES, the essay collection SO SAD TODAY, and five poetry collections, including SUPERDOOM: Selected Poems (Summer 2021) and LAST SEXT.
