Birmingham Museum of Art 2000 Rev. Abraham Woods Jr. Blvd, Birmingham, Alabama
While highlighting the museum’s collection of civil rights photography, the exhibition asks visitors to consider who has access to these freedoms today and what is the role of art in shaping how we define these freedoms. The exhibition will be on view as citizens prepare to exercise their civil right to vote in the midterm elections across the country in November. Voter registration forms will be available at the museum, as well as a voting guide outlining the necessary steps to cast a ballot. General admission free. 254-2565. artsbma.org
