The church will host this first-ever event to give its neighbors a chance to tour its building, which was completed in 2015 and features a Russian-style onion dome and a Greek-style central dome. Attendees can also see the large iconographic murals inside; enjoy tea, coffee, and baked goods; hear a lecture on iconography at 1 p.m.; and hear choir performances at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. For details, call 223-6513 or go to stsymeon.com.
