Shoppes of Crestwood
Vendors of the Shoppes of Crestwood retail center will have extended hours for the center’s “Third Thursdays in Crestwood” event.
The Shoppes of Crestwood retail center has changed its summer plans to cancel the Third Thursday event after June 20.
Third Thursdays offered shopping, live music and specials with participating merchants from 6 to 8 p.m. and was planned to run through August.
However, organizer Mallory Hayles, a co-owner of ElementsBhm boutique, said in late June that Elements and TRXi Vintage plan to close their brick-and-mortar location sometime in July, so the June date will end the event series.
In addition to ElementsBhm and TRXi, the participating merchants for the final event are Crestwood Pharmacy & Soda Fountain, Seasick Records, True Story Brewing, Crestwood Coffee, Urban Suburban and Hi-Tech Hair.

Editor's note: A version of this story was published in the July issue of Iron City Ink with dates and information for the July and August events. The announcement of the cancellation of Third Thursdays did not come until after that paper had been sent to press.
