The show features 38 artworks created by UAB art students and chosen by the juror, Atlanta artist Paul Stephen Benjamin .
The galleries at AEIVA are closed to the general public currently due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but a virtual tour of the show is available online at uab.edu/aeiva.
The show was open to all students who took art and art history courses in the past two years.
Featured in the exhibition are works by students Erika Aho, Alan Atkins, Kaitlyn Avery, Mickey Bolyard, Cicely Hill, Cameron Canevaro, Xie Beth Craig, Katie Davis, Matthew Davis, Ashley Frith, Josh Hoggle, Dani Ivey, Maddie Manston, Erin McMahon, Hayley Mikell, Pelatiah Morgan, Caroline Myers, Harper Nichols, Sabrina Palmer, Blanca Parga, Brittany Peters, Derriann L. Pharr, Rosalia V. Reyes, Levi Sanford, Kenny Saylor Jr., Troy Shirley, Cole Swarts, Molly Sinclair, Alexander Tucker, Diane C. Tucker, Kameron Williams, Ta’Ron Williams, and Chris Youngblood.

VACCINATION DASHBOARD
UAB and PathCheck Foundation, which was founded at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, have partnered to launch a worldwide, interactive, COVID-19 vaccination dashboard, according to UAB News.
The dashboard will allow the general public, public health officials and researchers to see aggregated vaccination data and visualize information by state, region and country.
“As we shift from focusing on the spread of COVID-19 to balancing the return of our lives to normal, vaccinations are one of the key components,” Sue Feldman, professor and director of graduate programs in health informatics in the UAB School of Health Professions. ”The vaccination dashboard provides information to everyone, regardless of who you are or where you live.”.
It was developed and is maintained using anonymous data collected from more than 60 governmental agencies and other public data sources.
The dashboard tracks and updates the quantity of vaccines administered on a state level, as well as with an international view option.
It also shows a breakdown of numbers of a specific brand of vaccine administered, inoculated population percentages, and data broken down into first- and second-dose categories.

TREATING THE BULLS
UAB Medicine is the medical partner for the Birmingham Bulls professional ice hockey team, according to UAB News.
Based in Pelham, the Bulls began play in the 2017-18 season as a member of the Southern Professional Hockey League.
Bulls players are referred to UAB Sports Medicine and are able to take advantage of its orthopaedic and sports medicine programs.
“We offer non-surgical evaluation of athletes and surgical management of complex injuries, and also provide concussion evaluation and treatment if needed,” said Dr. Amit Momaya, assistant professor of orthopaedics at UAB and chief of the Sports Medicine Section.
Several physicians from the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and the Department of Family and Community Medicine treat the Bulls.
The UAB Schools of Dentistry and Optometry also provide services through the collaboration.
The UAB Sports Medicine clinic is also the official provider for UAB Blazer Athletics and multiple local schools and organizations, including Legion FC, Birmingham’s professional soccer team, and the Birmingham Vulcans rugby team.
The clinic is composed of orthopaedic sports medicine surgeons and a primary care sports medicine physician.
