While the 23rd annual Rickwood Classic drew a packed house to historic Rickwood Field in downtown Birmingham, the Birmingham Barons fell to the Montgomery Biscuits, 9-4.
The two teams squared off in historic uniforms, playing at the oldest ballpark in the United States. Rickwood Field served as the home of the Barons until 1987.
The event featured autographs by former MLB manager Lou Piniella, a silent auction and historic programs.
